Job Description: Outbound Sales Consultant– Home Furnishings  (Girl preferred)

Location: Marol, Andheri East, Mumbai

Reporting To: Marketing Head

Role Overview:

The Inside Sales Executive will convert inbound leads into sales by directly

engaging homeowners, architects and interior designers (AIDs). The role

involves understanding client needs, showcasing curated fabric collections,

offering design guidance, preparing quotes, negotiating orders and ensuring

smooth end-to-end sales coordination, from enquiry to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

 Engage all incoming leads (retail/AID) within defined timelines to qualify,

consult and convert.

 Understand design preferences, budgets and functional needs to

recommend suitable fabrics/solutions.

 Schedule and coordinate meetings, product demos and presentations for

clients and designers.

 Negotiate, confirm orders and oversee the full sales cycle—including client

communication, delivery timelines and documentation.

 Maintain accurate, updated CRM records for all leads, follow-ups, orders

and customer feedback.

 Support onboarding and long-term engagement of n

ew architects and

designer partners.

 Collaborate with design, marketing and logistics teams for production

updates and smooth execution.

 Submit regular sales reports and actively participate in training and review

meetings.

 Drive customer satisfaction through timely service and proactive

communication.

Desired Candidate:

 Minimum 4 years’ experience in home décor, furnishings or interior design

sales (B2C/B2B preferred), including significant work with AIDs.

 Strong understanding of interior aesthetics, colour coordination and fabric

types.

 Proven expertise in lead management, consultative selling and high-touch

customer engagement.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi;

Marathi is a plus.

 Well-versed in CRM, Google Sheets/Excel, WhatsApp Business and emailbased sales processes.

 Highly organized, disciplined in follow-ups and ownership-driven.

 Creative, personable, consultative and driven to exceed targets in a fastpaced retail/design environment.

 Highly organized, self-motivated and able to drive the entire sales cycle

independently.

 Professional integrity, reliability and strong team collaboration skills.

Non-Negotiables (Must-Have Criteria):

1. Min. 4 years of work experience of working as a sales person in a reputed

home furnishings showroom

2. Adequate experience of visiting customers/Architects and Interior

Designer` premises for presentations and finalisation of orders.

3. Adequate knowledge and experience of making BOQ

4. Strong knowledge of fabrics, interior design concepts and trend-based

consultative selling.

5. Proficiency in CRM tools, Google Sheets/Excel and disciplined sales

reporting/follow-up practices.

6. Excellent communication (English, Hindi) and interpersonal skills; must be

confident and persuasive with clients and design partners.

7. Ready to travel locally for meetings as required.

Qualifications –

 HSC + Interior Designing Diploma

 Bachelors in Interior Designing

 Any graduate with Diploma in Interior Designing
