Role Overview
As a QA / Automation Engineer, you will work closely with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to ensure the reliability, stability, and performance of enterprise-scale modules.
You will design test plans, automate critical flows, lead regression cycles, and help build reliable testing infrastructure for:

Key Responsibilities
1. Test Planning & Execution
-
Understand product requirements and convert them into detailed test plans.
-
Perform functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, and exploratory testing.
-
Identify edge cases, failure scenarios, and behavioural gaps.
2. Automation & Framework Development
-
Build and maintain automated test scripts for major product flows.
-
Automate UI, API, workflow, and LLM-based modules.
-
Maintain and enhance CI pipelines to ensure reliable PR-level test execution.
3. Defect Management & Quality Ownership
-
Log defects with clean steps, screenshots, logs, and context.
-
Work with engineers to root-cause issues and verify fixes.
-
Advocate for reliability and push for high-quality releases.
4. Release & Regression Management
-
Own regression cycles for every sprint and major release.

Ensure no major issues reach production.
-
Continuously improve coverage, speed, and consistency of the regression suite.
5. Collaboration & Communication
-
Represent QA in sprint ceremonies and standups.
-
Challenge unclear requirements and raise risks early.

Act as a quality gatekeeper for all releases.
Required Skills & Experience
-
1–2 years of experience as a QA or Automation Engineer.

Strong understanding of SDLC, testing methodologies, and release workflows.

Hands-on experience with:

Test automation tools: Playwright / Cypress / Selenium

API testing: Postman, Newman, REST Assured

Scripting: JavaScript or Python

Ability to break complex systems into test scenarios.

Strong debugging, analytical, and documentation skills.

Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment.
Bonus Skills (Good to Have)

Experience testing LLM/AI-powered features.

Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).

Database exposure: SQL, BigQuery.

Familiarity with microservices and asynchronous workflows (Celery, Argo).

Understanding of procurement or supply-chain workflows (not mandatory).
