 About the Company

A next-generation SaaS platform building advanced solutions in supply chain intelligence—covering Procurement, Distribution, Forecasting, Workflow Automation, and AI-driven copilots.
The company moves fast, ships often, and prioritizes reliability. QA is treated as an engineering discipline, not a checkbox.

This role is ideal for someone early in their career who wants to grow quickly, take ownership, and build the automation backbone for high-velocity product teams.

Role Overview

As a QA / Automation Engineer, you will work closely with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to ensure the reliability, stability, and performance of enterprise-scale modules.
You will design test plans, automate critical flows, lead regression cycles, and help build reliable testing infrastructure for:

  • Web applications

  • Backend services

  • Workflow automation

  • AI/LLM-powered features

Key Responsibilities

1. Test Planning & Execution

  • Understand product requirements and convert them into detailed test plans.

  • Perform functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, and exploratory testing.

  • Identify edge cases, failure scenarios, and behavioural gaps.

2. Automation & Framework Development

  • Build and maintain automated test scripts for major product flows.

  • Automate UI, API, workflow, and LLM-based modules.

  • Maintain and enhance CI pipelines to ensure reliable PR-level test execution.

3. Defect Management & Quality Ownership

  • Log defects with clean steps, screenshots, logs, and context.

  • Work with engineers to root-cause issues and verify fixes.

  • Advocate for reliability and push for high-quality releases.

4. Release & Regression Management

  • Own regression cycles for every sprint and major release.

  • Ensure no major issues reach production.

  • Continuously improve coverage, speed, and consistency of the regression suite.

5. Collaboration & Communication

  • Represent QA in sprint ceremonies and standups.

  • Challenge unclear requirements and raise risks early.

  • Act as a quality gatekeeper for all releases.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 1–2 years of experience as a QA or Automation Engineer.

  • Strong understanding of SDLC, testing methodologies, and release workflows.

  • Hands-on experience with:

    • Test automation tools: Playwright / Cypress / Selenium

    • API testing: Postman, Newman, REST Assured

    • Scripting: JavaScript or Python

  • Ability to break complex systems into test scenarios.

  • Strong debugging, analytical, and documentation skills.

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment.

Bonus Skills (Good to Have)

  • Experience testing LLM/AI-powered features.

  • Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).

  • Database exposure: SQL, BigQuery.

  • Familiarity with microservices and asynchronous workflows (Celery, Argo).

  • Understanding of procurement or supply-chain workflows (not mandatory).

What We Look For

  • High ownership and low ego.

  • Curiosity and willingness to understand systems deeply.

  • A mindset to learn from failures and improve continuously.

  • Passion for automating repetitive tasks.

  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Why Join?

  • Work on one of the most complex and impactful SaaS domains in India.

  • Collaborate with a world-class Engineering and Product team.

  • Build automation frameworks from the ground up—your work directly prevents failures.

  • Fast career growth, high responsibility, zero bureaucracy.

  • A culture that values craftsmanship, quality, and attention to detail.
