Job Title: Head of Service Procurement - Renewable Energy / Director - Procurement (Renewables)
Department: Procurement / Supply Chain
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute procurement strategies for renewable energy services (O&M, EPC, Land Acquisition, Technology, Grid Connection) aligned with business goals.
  • Supplier Management: Identify, qualify, select, and manage key service providers/partners (EPC contractors, O&M providers, landowners).
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead complex negotiations for long-term contracts (PPAs, ESAs, Service Agreements, Leases).
  • Cost & Value: Drive significant cost savings, value engineering, and ensure optimal pricing for services.
  • Risk Management: Mitigate supply chain risks, ensure compliance, and manage contract performance.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay updated on global RE market trends, technology, and regulatory changes.
  • Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing procurement team. 
Key Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in strategic procurement, ideally within Renewables (Wind, Solar, Storage).
  • Strong negotiation, contract management, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic thinking, risk management, and market analysis.
  • Understanding of renewable energy technologies, project lifecycles, and relevant regulations.
  • Leadership and change management abilities.
  • Relevant degree (Supply Chain, Engineering, Business) & CIPS certification (desirable).
