Job Description:

Position:          Executive/Asst. Manager - Exim

Location:         Fort - Mumbai

Experience:      5 - 7 Years

Industries:       Engineering

Responsibilities:

Export Operations:

  • Prepare export documentation: Invoice, Packing List, COO, BL/AWB, Inspection Certificates, Form EUR1 etc.
  • Manage LC (Letter of Credit) documentation and ensure timely negotiation with banks.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, CHA, and transporters.
  • Ensure compliance with DGFT, customs, EXIM regulations, and country-specific requirements.
  • Handle Pre-Shipment and Post-Shipment documentation and formalities.
  • Monitor shipment schedules & track export consignments.
  • Coordinate with production and dispatch teams to meet export delivery timelines.
  • Process export incentives (MEIS/ RoDTEP/ Duty Drawback etc.)

Import Operations:

  • Manage import documentation: Bill of Entry, HS Code verification, BoL/AWB, COO, etc.
  • Follow up with suppliers for PI, shipping documents, material readiness.
  • Coordinate customs clearance with CHA.
  • Verify import duties, GST applicability, and ensure correct classification.
  • Handle import logistics, freight negotiation, and cost optimization.
  • Track inbound shipments and update internal stakeholders.

Compliance & Coordination:

  • Ensure full compliance with DGFT, Customs, FEMA, RBI guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of all import/export transactions.
  • Handle audits and ensure documentation accuracy.
  • Vendor & freight rate negotiation for export/import shipments.
  • Coordinate with QA for third-party inspection agencies (e.g., SGS, Bureau Veritas).

 

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of EXIM procedures, customs norms, DGFT policies.
  • Hands-on experience with LC documentation and bank negotiation.
  • Familiar with conductor/cable industry materials (AAC, ACSR, AAAC, HTLS conductors).
  • Proficiency in HS codes and international shipping terms (Incoterms).
  • Good communication with logistics partners and internal teams.

Required Qualification: - Any Graduation

Salary :- Upto 7.00 LPA
