Role Overview

The VP_Accounts Receivables will oversee the end-to-end receivables function, ensure timely collections, maintain robust credit control, and support banking operations. This role requires strong financial acumen, leadership skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable Management

  • Develop and implement strategies to minimize bad debt and enhance cash flow.

  • Ensure accurate recording, tracking, and reconciliation of all AR transactions.

  • Follow up on outstanding invoices, ensure timely collections, and engage with customers—including site visits—to resolve payment issues.

  • Prepare and analyze AR performance reports, aging summaries, and collection forecasts.

  • Issue interest debit notes and review customer balance sheets.

  • Monitor shortages, pending quantity lifting, and file closing status.

  • Oversee material-related insurance claim processes.

  • Prepare weekly projected cash flow statements.

  • Verify and sign credit notes issued to customers and transporter recoveries.

  • Review and approve vouchers for on-account payments for material purchases.

  • Validate import remittance profit/loss statements and track pending adjustments.

  • Verify and sign storage bills, customer refunds, advance payments, and LC negotiation documents.

Banking & Financial Coordination

  • Lead negotiations with banks for charges, facilities, and new partnerships.

  • Manage bank onboarding processes and liaise with banking representatives.

  • Oversee end-to-end cash flow planning and management.

  • Provide support to trade and banking teams as required.


Job Requirements

  • Education: B.Com / M.Com / Post-Graduate / Master’s. Inter CA or CA preferred.

  • Experience: 5–10+ years of relevant post-qualification experience, with at least 2–3 years in a similar financial leadership role.

  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
