Location: Bengaluru (Hybrid – 2 days per week onsite)

About the Role

The organization is seeking an experienced SAP Convergent Charging (SAP CC) Professional with deep hands-on expertise in rating, charging, and tariff configuration. The ideal candidate will have strong experience supporting production environments, analysing charging issues, resolving rating discrepancies, and ensuring overall billing accuracy. This role follows a hybrid work model with mandatory onsite presence twice a week.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production Support & Issue Resolution

• Provide L2/L3 support for SAP CC across rating, charging, and tariff-related issues.

• Troubleshoot chargeable item (CI) errors, rating mismatches, performance bottlenecks, and usage processing failures.

• Monitor usage data loads, data pipelines, charging contracts, and system performance logs.

• Conduct root-cause analysis and ensure closure of incidents within defined SLAs.

• Maintain documentation of incidents, solutions, and continuous improvements.

2. Configuration & System Maintenance

• Configure price plans, charging plans, mapping tables, and charging rules.

• Support configuration versioning, deployment, testing, and migration activities.

• Validate and test new charging models, system updates, and patches.

• Support end-to-end processes integrated within the SAP BRIM ecosystem.

3. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support

• Work closely with SAP CI, FICA, SOM, and Billing teams for cross-module issue resolution.

• Coordinate with business stakeholders to understand billing and charging requirements.

• Collaborate with technical teams on debugging, performance improvement, and enhancements.

• Participate in release cycles, regression testing, and continuous optimization initiatives.

Required Skills & Expertise

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Convergent Charging (SAP CC).

• Strong knowledge of:

  • Price plans, charging plans, mapping tables

  • Chargeable Item (CI) processing

  • Usage processing flows

  • Charging contracts and customer hierarchies

• Proficiency in analysing CC logs, trace files, load failures, and rating discrepancies.

• Experience with configuration deployment, system monitoring, and version management.

• Solid understanding of SAP BRIM integration (CI, FICA, Billing).

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Good to Have

• Broader understanding of SAP BRIM end-to-end landscape.

• Basic knowledge of SOAP/REST APIs and external rating integrations.

• Exposure to ABAP debugging for BRIM-related issue analysis.

• Prior experience in industries such as Telecom, Utilities, or Subscription Billing.
