Job Description:

Core Technical Competencies - Knowledge & Experience of Telecom, Broadband
industry
o Transport Network Expertise: In-depth knowledge of MPLS, DWDM, and
SDH technologies.

o IP Networking: Strong understanding of IP networking, including routing
protocols and MPLS.
o Network Planning: Proficiency in network design, capacity planning, and
optimization.
o SD-WAN and NFV: Familiarity with emerging technologies like SD-WAN and
NFV in the transport network context.
o Data Analysis: Ability to analyze network performance data to identify trends
and patterns.
o Forecasting: Skill in developing accurate network capacity forecasts.
o Modeling: Proficiency in using network simulation and modeling tools.
 Strategic Thinking
o Problem Solving: Ability to identify and resolve complex network capacity
issues.
o Decision Making: Making informed decisions based on data and analysis.
o Strategic Planning: Developing long-term capacity planning strategies aligned
with business objectives.

What you’ll bring to the team:
 Overall Project Management:
o Lead and manage the deployment of the transport network, ensuring alignment
with key implementation partners, including leading telco, IP1 partners, and field
services operations.
 Network Design:
o Collaborate with OEMs and partners to create high-level and low-level network
designs for the TPF MPLS transport network.

 Planning and Standardization:
o Develop planning guidelines, SOPs, and standardize application KPIs in
accordance with TSBB business philosophy.
 Coordination for Migration and Upgradation:
o Coordinate with telco, IP1, OEM, and MS partners for major migration and
upgradation events in the transport network.
 Performance and Governance Meetings:
o Establish quarterly performance and governance meetings with partners and
OEMs to monitor and resolve operational issues, service enhancements, and
performance issues.
 Product and Service Evaluation:

o Evaluate new products and services based on TPF business requirements for the
transport network.

 Functional and Architectural Testing:
o Coordinate with OEMs for end-to-end functional and architectural testing in a lab
environment.
 Operational Readiness:
o Ensure the overall operational readiness for the rollout of new products and
services.

Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills :

What all qualifications do we expect:
 Education requirements: B.E/B. Tech or equivalent, PMP certification will be preferred
and Routing /Switching / ISP network – expert level certification preferred
 Experience: 4-6 Years, preferably in the telecommunications industry, Specialist
knowledge as mentioned in Skill set & domain knowledge
