Job Description:
Key Responsibilities (Mechanical Engineer/Technician)
- Operations & Monitoring: Monitor performance of turbines, boilers, heat exchangers, pumps; adjust controls for optimal power output; record data.
- Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine and major maintenance, overhauls, and repairs on mechanical systems; supervise teams; ensure part procurement.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions (vibration, pressure issues) and system failures.
- Design & Installation (for Engineers): Review P&IDs, design/install piping, support new equipment integration (WHR, biomass systems).
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety protocols, ensure adherence to ASME, IBR, API standards, manage environmental compliance.
- Documentation: Maintain logs, write reports, create/interpret technical drawings (CAD).
