Sales Manager

Job Description:

• Identify automotive 4W & 2W business development opportunities
• Contact to automotive customers (OEM, Tier1) and deliver the solutions to meet their new technical
or processing requirements at target costs, through material innovation or application design
solutions in line with automotive Industry strategy. Either through the replication of proven solutions
in other regions or through joint development projects.
• Report to supervisor the business and development performance in India to help tracking the market
development and trends.

• Coordinate technical service and troubleshooting with relevant parties.
• Plan and organize action plans and daily work schedule and applying effective time and territory
management techniques
• Prepare proposals and/or technical reports to customers
• Communicate with customers, building up credibility and rapport
• Provide timely solutions to their problems – this could require coordination with other teams within
Styrolution to get the best answer for trouble shooting
• Maintain all technical and service records and case histories on customer sales

• Product positioning in India automotive business in line with product policy
• Select new target customers and material promotion based on customer and market requirements, as well as
in-line with automotive strategy.
• Propose and suggest product portfolio of Automotive to RHQ in line with strategic objective, policy and identify
product portfolio gaps and drive new product development.

• Increase expertise and understand trend in accessible automotive India market within relevant product ranges
as well as extended scope of inter-polymers.
• Analyze and position ahead of competitors’ activities and strategies in automotive India market for new
business development because of very tough technical and price competition
• Ensure strategic growth of new business in volume and profit together in the medium and long term.
