Role Definition
A Social Media Marketing Executive at Our company is responsible
for managing and growing clients’ social media presence, primarily
on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
This role involves strategizing, coordinating with the production and
design teams, and ensuring timely execution of deliverables to drive
engagement and business growth for our clients.

Tasks & Activities
1. Stay Ahead with Social Media Trends & Tools
• Stay updated on emerging trends, topical events, and new tools
each month to generate fresh, creative content ideas that align
with brand objectives.
• Regularly explore and evaluate new software and resources to
enhance content creation efficiency and creativity for the agency.
• Research and suggest trending formats, hashtags, sounds, and
platform updates to keep brand content fresh and relevant.
2. Content Strategy & Campaign Management
• Engage with clients monthly to gather briefs, align on quarterly and
yearly goals, and develop content strategies that drive brand
growth.
• Once campaign briefs are finalized, collaborate with the
production team to create reference decks and secure client
approvals on execution budgets.
• Coordinate with the design and video teams to request brief, and
final-check visual assets for post scheduling.
3. Content Production & Brand Alignment
• Develop content calendars based on client briefs and collaborate
with the production and graphics teams to execute, edit, and
finalize posts for publishing.
• Update calendars bi-weekly with captions, hashtags, and relevant
data to optimize post-performance.
• Ensure content calendar covers all platform-specific features (e.g.,
posts and stories for Instagram). Manage scheduling and ensure
posts go live on time, following client approvals.
4. Client Communication, Approvals & Feedback
• Provide weekly updates, along with monthly and quarterly
performance reports, to keep clients informed.
• Schedule regular monthly meetings to gather feedback and
approvals.
• Identify opportunities for growth and pitch additional services as
needed to enhance the client’s brand strategy.
5. Collaborate with the Performance Marketing Team
• Conduct weekly check-ins with the performance marketing team
(if applicable) to review metrics, assess the impact of ad spends on
social media, and exchange insights.
• Share organic content for performance campaigns or curate
content for performance based on specific requirements to
optimize results.
6. Reporting
• Reporting to manager regularly
• Updating task list in real time on ZOHO
Measurement Metrics
1. Regular Reporting: Provide weekly updates and monthly/quarterly
performance reports.
2. Client Communication: Conduct monthly client calls for feedback
and alignment.
3. Performance Tracking: Hold weekly check-ins with the
performance marketing team.
4. Content Management: Ensure timely scheduling and posting of
content.
5. Client Satisfaction: Deliver innovative ideas, seamless execution,
and impactful results.
6. Profile Growth: Drive overall engagement and growth across social
media platforms.
Growth Trajectory
0–3 Months: Build expertise in agency processes, deliver content
consistently and on time as per briefs, and demonstrate reliability in
content execution, reporting, and community management.
3–6 Months: Take ownership of platforms/brands, coordinate directly
with clients on routine updates or clarifications (with manager guidance),
and implement client feedback quickly and accurately.
6–12 Months: Achieve proficiency in agency tools, processes, and key
brand accounts; ensure reliable, on-time content publishing and effective
community management.
12–18 Months: Spearhead innovative campaign ideas, mentor peers, and
prepare for promotion to Social Media Manager by demonstrating
strategic planning, leadership, and high-impact client servicing.
