Job Description:
GET/DET (Graduate/Diploma Engineer Trainee) roles are entry-level positions for mechanical engineers focused on training in manufacturing, production, and maintenance. Key duties include assisting with project design, machine operation, troubleshooting, and quality control. Ideal candidates have 0–2 years of experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and AutoCAD proficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Production & Manufacturing: Assist in daily manufacturing operations, machine maintenance, and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Design & Development: Support senior engineers with CAD modeling, technical calculations, and prototyping.
- Technical Support: Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on mechanical equipment.
- Documentation: Maintain records of maintenance activities, production reports, and project data.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and industry regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: B.E./B.Tech (for GET) or Diploma (for DET) in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: 0–2 years; freshers are generally eligible.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, basic machine operation knowledge, and understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Soft Skills: Problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
