Position: Plant Manager
Total Experience Required: 8+ years
Qualification: Bachelor's degree in civil / mechanical engineering (Diploma holders with strong experience may also be considered

Job Summary:
The Plant Manager will be responsible for leading and managing all operations of the Ready-Mix Concrete (RMC) plant. This includes production planning, process optimization, quality assurance, manpower management, and cost control. The role demands strategic leadership to ensure uninterrupted, high-volume production with strict adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards, while maintaining operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee end-to-end operations of batching plants, ensuring continuous and efficient production.

Plan daily and monthly production targets based on client requirements, project timelines, and logistics.

Work closely with the Quality Control Head to ensure all mixes conform to required standards and specifications.

Implement preventive maintenance schedules for batching plants, transit mixers, pumps, and related machinery to ensure minimal downtime.

Control wastage of materials and optimize use of manpower, fuel, and raw materials to achieve target cost efficiencies.

Ensure adequate availability of cement, aggregates, admixtures, and other raw material through timely coordination with the procurement and logistics teams.

Enforce strict adherence to safety norms, statutory regulations, and environmental standards (including MPCB and other regulatory Authorities).

Supervise and mentor team including engineers, operators, maintenance staff, and drivers to ensure performance excellence and discipline.

Maintain accurate records for production, dispatches, raw material consumption, and breakdown logs; prepare MIS reports for management review.

Interface with key clients, contractors, and project teams to ensure smooth supply operations and address any operational challenges.

Sound understanding of mix designs, quality standards and production planning.

Strong leadership, decision-making, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to manage teams and multiple projects under pressure.
