Job Description:
A Chartered Accountant (CA) job involves high-level financial expertise, including auditing financial statements, managing budgets, strategic financial planning, tax compliance, and providing expert business advisory to ensure regulatory adherence and optimize financial performance for individuals or companies. CAs handle complex tasks like risk assessment, reporting to agencies, and guiding junior staff, requiring strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, alongside deep knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Auditing & Compliance: Conduct internal/external audits, verify financial records, and ensure adherence to laws and accounting standards.
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and performance reports for management/stakeholders.
- Taxation: Manage tax planning, prepare returns, and resolve tax-related issues.
- Advisory & Strategy: Offer advice on financial improvements, risk management, business restructuring, and strategic growth.
- Financial Management: Oversee budgets, control master data, process payments, and improve financial systems.
- Client/Stakeholder Liaison: Communicate with clients, external auditors, regulators, and management.
- Team Leadership: Guide and train junior accounting staff.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, plus completion of CA certification/articles.
- Skills: Strong numeracy, analytical, problem-solving, IT proficiency, communication, integrity, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge: Expertise in accounting principles, financial reporting, relevant software, and regulations.
