Job Description:

Position:          Chief Financial Officer(CFO)

Location:         Mumbai

Experience:     10 - 15 years

Industries:      Chemical

Responsibilities:        

  • Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy aligned with short-term and long-term business goals.
  • Act as a strategic partner to the MD/CEO and Board in decision-making, investments, and growth initiatives.
  • Provide financial insights, forecasts, and scenario analysis to support strategic planning.
  • Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and rolling financial plans.
  • Monitor actual performance versus budget and take corrective actions.
  • Drive cost optimization initiatives across procurement, production, logistics, and overheads.
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements as per applicable accounting standards (Ind AS).
  • Ensure full compliance with statutory requirements including Companies Act, Income Tax, GST, Customs, Excise, FEMA, and other applicable laws.
  • Oversee internal controls, SOPs, and financial governance frameworks.
  • Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
  • Manage cash flows, banking relationships, fund utilization, and liquidity planning.
  • Optimize working capital including inventory, receivables, and payables.
  • Handle banking operations, credit limits, LC/BG management, and borrowing requirements.
  • Oversee direct and indirect taxation including GST, customs duties, and import-export related compliances.
  • Represent the company before tax authorities, auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies when required.
  • Identify financial, operational, and compliance risks and implement mitigation measures.
  • Ensure insurance coverage and claims management for plant, assets, and liabilities.
  • Drive effective use of ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Tally or similar) for finance and controls.
  • Ensure timely MIS, financial dashboards, and performance reports for management review.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounts team.
  • Build a high-performance culture with strong ethics, compliance, and accountability.

Salary: - Upto 50.00 LPA
