In the barrel and industrial packaging industry, a Drum Painter is responsible for applying protective and decorative coatings to steel or plastic drums to prevent corrosion and meet customer branding specifications.
Key Responsibilities-
- Surface Preparation: Clean and degrease metal surfaces using chemical washes, sandblasting, or abrasive tools to ensure proper paint adhesion.
- Machine Operation: Set up and operate automated spray booths or hand-held spray guns to apply primers and topcoats to moving conveyor systems.
