Relationship Manager / Senior Relationship Manager – Corporate Conglomerate Group (CCG)

Department:

Wholesale Banking / Corporate Banking / Large Corporate Coverage

Role Overview:

The Corporate Conglomerate Group (CCG) manages relationships with large business houses, diversified conglomerates, and promoter-driven groups with multi-sector operations. The role focuses on end-to-end relationship management, credit origination, risk management, and cross-selling across group entities.


Key Responsibilities:

Relationship Management

  • Act as the single point of contact for assigned conglomerate groups and their subsidiaries.

  • Build and deepen relationships with promoters, CXOs, CFOs, and treasury teams.

  • Drive group-level wallet share by offering integrated banking solutions.

Credit & Lending

  • Originate and structure large-ticket credit proposals including:

    • Fund-based and non-fund-based limits

    • Term loans, working capital, project finance

    • Structured finance and syndicated loans

  • Coordinate credit appraisal, financial analysis, and risk assessment.

  • Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and regulatory guidelines.

Transaction Banking & Fee Income

  • Drive CASA, cash management, trade finance, and forex business.

  • Cross-sell:

    • Transaction banking solutions

    • Supply chain finance

    • Treasury and derivatives products

    • Investment banking / capital market products (where applicable)

Group Coverage & Coordination

  • Manage exposure across multiple group entities.

  • Coordinate with product teams, credit, legal, operations, and risk.

  • Monitor group-level exposure, limits, and covenant compliance.

Portfolio & Risk Management

  • Regularly review financial performance and industry trends.

  • Track early warning signals and manage credit quality of the portfolio.

  • Support restructuring, renewal, and enhancement of facilities.

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure adherence to KYC, AML, and regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting.


Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of corporate credit, balance sheet analysis, and risk management

  • Knowledge of multiple industries and conglomerate structures

  • Ability to handle large exposures and complex group relationships

  • Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills

  • Commercial acumen with a relationship-driven approach
