Collections Manager _Nagpur
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Collections Manager to lead and optimize our collections operations within the fast-paced Communications Platform as a Service (CPaaS) environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of telecom billing cycles, enterprise customer payment behaviors, and global collections nuances. This role will ensure timely revenue realization, healthy cash flows, and compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
Collections Operations & Strategy
- Lead end-to-end collections processes.
- Develop and execute collection strategies to improve cash flow and minimize bad debt.
- Manage customer aging buckets and review past-due accounts proactively.
- Monitor collection performance metrics and prepare weekly/monthly dashboards.
Customer & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary escalation point for overdue and complex collection cases.
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Billing, and Legal teams to resolve disputes.
- Communicate professionally with global clients to negotiate payment commitments.
Billing & Compliance
- Ensure alignment with billing and collection cycles.
- Verify adherence to internal financial controls, credit policies, and regulatory requirements.
Process Improvement
- Identify workflow gaps and implement best practices to improve efficiency.
- Participate in cross-functional projects to streamline revenue operations.
Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills :
- 3+ years of experience in collections, credit control, or receivables management (CPaaS/SaaS/Telecom preferred).
- Strong understanding of subscription and usage-based billing models.
- Experience handling enterprise and global clients with high-value invoices.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and customer-facing skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, CRMs, ERP systems, and dashboards.
- Strong analytical, forecasting, and presentation skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
