SHIFT INCHARGE PRODUCTION SID FOR STEEL INDUSTRY - RAIGARH , CHHATTISGARH

Job Description:

• Production Management: Plan, coordinate, and supervise the entire shift's production, ensuring targets are met and resources (raw materials, equipment) are optimized.
• Process Monitoring: Oversee critical parameters (temperature, pressure) and operations (Kiln, Cooler, ESP, Handling Systems) for stability and efficiency.
• Team Leadership: Guide, train, and manage shift operators and supervisors, resolving conflicts and motivating the team.
• Safety & Compliance: Strictly enforce all safety protocols (HSE) and environmental regulations (Pollution Control).
• Troubleshooting: Quickly identify and resolve operational problems, taking corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Coordination: Liaise with Electrical, Mechanical, and other departments for smooth operations and maintenance.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate shift logs, production records, and report performance/deviations to senior management.
• Quality Control: Implement checks to ensure product quality meets standards. 

• Knowledge: Strong understanding of Sponge Iron/Steel Plant processes (DRI, Kiln, Handling Systems).
• Leadership: Excellent team management, motivation, and communication skills.
• Technical: Problem-solving, quick decision-making, process control, troubleshooting.
• Compliance: Knowledge of safety, environment, and statutory norms.
• Education: Diploma/B.E./B. Tech (Mechanical/Production) often required.
