Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented DLP Incident Manager to join our Information Security department. In this role, you will be responsible for investigating and
resolving incidents detected by the Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solution. You will work closely with the security team and other departments to identify potential data breaches, assess risks, and implement appropriate remediation actions.

Responsibilities:

• Investigate and analyze DLP alerts to determine the severity and nature of potential data loss incidents.
• Gather and analyze evidence to understand the root cause of the incident and identify the involved users and data.
• Classify incidents based on severity and prioritize them for resolution.
• Work with end-users to understand their actions and determine if they were intentional or accidental.
• Take appropriate actions based on the incident type, such as blocking data transfer, quarantining files, or escalating the incident to management.
• Document the incident investigation process and findings in a clear and concise manner.
• Work with the security team to develop and implement preventative measures to minimize future occurrences.
• Stay up to date on the latest DLP best practices and regulations related to data protection.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of DLP policies and procedures.
• Generate reports on DLP incidents and trends to inform security posture improvements.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as HR and Legal, in case of serious data loss incidents.
