Electrical Engineer

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities
• Preparation of HT & LT, transformer yards, bus duct layout, electrical room, rising main layout, DB
mounting and section details.
• Main single line diagram, lighting and raw power layouts, lightning protection layout, UPS & raw
power distribution layouts.
• Preparation of fire alarm, access control, closed-circuit television, and public addressing
system schematic and layout.
• Raceway and cable tray layout, earthing layouts, trench layout, general arrangement of panels,
control schematic, bill of quantities.
• Preparation of electrical, civil & mechanical drawings, isometric drawings, and digitizing drawings.
• Cable sizing, voltage drop, short circuit, fault level, load flow, breaker rating, and lux level calculations.
• Preparation of cable schedule, D.B. Schedule, and related shop drawings.
• Preparation of all services coordination drawings related to electrical services.
• Preparation of design brief report, load calculation, energy savings analysis, and all related queries /
questionnaire.

Requirements to Apply
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline.
• 3–7 years of experience in electrical design within an Architectural/MEP consultancy environment.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and electrical calculation software (e.g., Dialux, ETAP).
• In-depth knowledge of MEP systems, UAE building codes, and authority approval procedures.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results under tight deadlines.
