Manager - Maintenance

Job Description:

Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Design, Promote and Carry out Preventative Maintenance
• Ensure all machines are safe and fit for purpose
• Installation of new machines and equipment
• Overhaul and upkeep and repair of all plant machines including;
1. Tube Washer m/c.
2. Fining m/c.
3. Cab Furnace .
4. All utility equipment’s like Air Compressor , D,g set , all type pump with STP -ETP Pant.
5. EOT cranes.
6. Welding m/cs.
7. Hand Pallet Trunk and material Handling equipment.
8. Basic Knowledge of Hydroulic circuit and pneumatic line
• Review and Advise on Engineering requirements and drawings
• Actively promote safe working practices
• Work with and Coordinate Contractors
• Undertake repairs and servicing to the highest standard in accordance with
work requests and pre-determined specifications.
• Where a detailed specification is not provided determine the cause of the
fault and then undertake the most cost effective solution to remedy the
defect.
• Effective Communication – keeping Management and relevant parties
aware and seeking advice and assistance when required.

• Any other duty as may be required commensurate with the grading of the
post and the skill of the post holder.
