Assistant Manager – Sales (International Business)

Role Overview
The role is responsible for driving international sales and marketing for Heat Stabilizers and Impact Modifiers across SEA, Africa, and Middle East markets (excluding Russia). The incumbent will focus on profitability, market expansion, distributor management, and new customer acquisition for specialty chemicals.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Strategic & Marketing Responsibilities

Formulate and execute international marketing strategies to achieve budgeted sales and profitability.

Conduct market analysis and competition mapping for stabilizers and modifiers.

Plan and manage media activities, promotional events, and marketing budgets.

Align value propositions based on competitive intelligence and customer needs.
Sales & Business Development
-
Manage key accounts, distributors, and direct customers in assigned international territories.

Drive market share growth for Heat Stabilizers and Impact Modifiers.

Achieve monthly sales targets and collection targets for international markets.

Perform customer mapping and secondary sales mapping.
Customer & Relationship Management

Handle customer complaints and feedback, ensuring corrective actions and continuous improvement.

Coordinate and attend product trials as required to ensure customer satisfaction.

Maintain strong relationships with distributors and end customers.
Cross-Functional Coordination

Work closely with R&D, Production, QA, Supply Chain, and Finance to support business development initiatives.

Prepare and present data-driven reports, MIS, and presentations to management.
Educational Qualification
Minimum
-
Full-time Graduate in Polymer / Chemistry
Preferred
-
Master’s or Diploma in Marketing
Experience Requirement
-
5 to 8 years of experience in international sales & marketing of chemicals
-
Prior experience in Specialty Chemicals Industry
-
Exposure to polymer marketing or specialty chemical products

Compensation
-
CTC: ₹10 – 11 LPA
or -
25–30% hike on current CTC (whichever is higher, within budget)
Notice Period

Candidate must be able to join within 30–40 days from offer release
