Sr. Architect-Design Head
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the design team, including architects, interior designers, draftsmen, 3D artists, MEP professionals, and others, to deliver innovative and high- quality healthcare infrastructure designs.
- Lead the end-to-end design process from concept, master planning, and schematic design through to execution.
- Design and implement policies and processes to ensure design excellence, efficiency, and adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Monitor and assess team performance to ensure effective collaboration, productivity, and consistent design quality across all functions.
- Ensure that all design work meets client requirements, industry standards, and regulatory compliance, particularly for healthcare infrastructure.
- Oversee the creation of comprehensive design documentation, including blueprints, technical drawings, and 3D models.
- Collaborate with sales, project management, and construction teams to ensure seamless integration of design concepts during the execution phase.
- Manage client relationships by effectively communicating design progress, addressing feedback, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Continuously evaluate design trends, materials, and technologies to improve the quality and efficiency of design solutions.
- Monitor project performance from design inception to completion, ensuring the delivery of high-quality work within the set scope, time, and budget.
- Conduct periodic reviews and quality assurance checks on design deliverables to ensure consistency and excellence.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and training to the design team, fostering professional development and skill enhancement.
- Collaborate with senior management, clients, investors, and regulatory authorities to align project objectives, timelines, and design deliverables.
- Present architectural concepts, project progress, and design milestones to both internal and external stakeholders.
Manage client feedback and resolve conflicts in a structured and professional manner, fostering constructive face-to-face interactions over email debates.

Education: |
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field. |

Technical Skills |
1) Design Software: Advanced proficiency in in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and 3D rendering software (e.g., V-Ray, Rhino, Lumion). 2) Project Management Tools: Familiarity with tools like Asana, Trello, or Microsoft Project for task management and coordination. 3) BIM (Building Information Modelling): Experience with BIM tools like Autodesk Revit or ArchiCAD. 4) MEP Design Tools: Knowledge of MEP design software such as AutoCAD MEP or Revit MEP for integrated design coordination. 5) Presentation Tools: Proficient in PowerPoint, Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), and other presentation tools for client-facing materials. 6) MS Office Suite: Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for reporting, documentation, and presentations. 7) Collaboration Tools: Experience with collaborative platforms like Microsoft Teams, Google Drive for team coordination and document sharing. |
