About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development, International Sales & Key Accounts Manager to drive growth across global markets while managing strategic domestic and international clients. This role requires a strong combination of international sales expertise, distributor management, and key account relationship building.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for expanding our international footprint, managing export accounts, and strengthening long-term partnerships with key customers across regions.


Key Responsibilities

International Sales & Export Business

  • Develop and execute international sales strategies to grow exports in assigned regions

  • Identify, appoint, and manage overseas distributors, importers, and key international customers

  • Manage the end-to-end export sales cycle, including lead generation, negotiation, and closure

  • Coordinate with internal teams on export documentation, pricing, logistics, and compliance

  • Analyze international market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences

  • Represent the company in international trade fairs, exhibitions, and client meetings (as required)

Key Account Management

  • Manage and grow relationships with key domestic and international accounts

  • Act as the primary point of contact for strategic clients

  • Ensure consistent customer engagement, satisfaction, and retention

  • Handle pricing discussions, commercial negotiations, and contract renewals

  • Develop account growth plans to increase volumes and product penetration

Business Development

  • Identify new business opportunities across domestic and international markets

  • Promote the company’s product portfolio to meet diverse customer needs

  • Drive new client onboarding and market expansion initiatives

Sales Performance & Reporting

  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales and revenue targets

  • Prepare sales forecasts, MIS reports, and performance reviews

  • Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and optimization

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with production, quality, logistics, finance, and marketing teams

  • Ensure timely order execution and adherence to customer requirements

  • Provide market feedback to support product development and pricing strategies


Candidate Requirements

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Trade, or a related field

  • MBA is an added advantage

Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience in International Sales / Export Sales and Key Account Management, preferably in FMCG

  • Strong understanding of export markets, distributor management, and international pricing

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

  • Ability to manage multiple markets and key accounts simultaneously

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets in domestic and/or international markets

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Industry Knowledge

  • Experience in the spice industry or FMCG sector is highly preferred

Additional Requirements

  • Willingness to travel internationally or locally as required

  • Proficiency in MS Office tools

  • Knowledge of export documentation and compliance is a plus
