Job Description:
A Learning & Development (L&D) Manager designs and delivers training for sales teams, partners, and employees on financial productsregulations, and sales techniques, using LMS platforms to boost product knowledge and sales effectiveness while tracking training impact and staying current with SEBI norms. Key duties include needs analysis, content creation (e-learning, workshops), training delivery (virtual/in-person), managing budgets, and reporting on training efficacy to meet business goals. 
 
 
Job Description: Learning & Development Manager (Mutual Fund)
 
Role Summary
To lead the design, implementation, and management of comprehensive learning & development programs that enhance the skills, knowledge, and performance of internal staff, distributors, and channel partners, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements in the mutual fund industry. 
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Needs Analysis & Strategy:
    • Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) across departments (sales, operations, etc.) and with partners.
    • Develop and execute a strategic L&D plan aligned with organizational goals and SEBI guidelines.
  2. Content Development:
  3. Training Delivery & Facilitation:
    • Deliver effective virtual, classroom, and on-field training sessions for diverse audiences (new hires, seasoned distributors).
    • Lead sessions during key industry events, partner meets, and new product launches.
  4. Platform & Tools Management:
  5. Evaluation & Reporting:
    • Measure training effectiveness using feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
    • Prepare regular reports on training coverage, outcomes, and ROI for leadership.
  6. Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Partner with HR, Sales Heads, and Regional Managers to identify needs and drive learning initiatives.
    • Represent the company at industry events. 
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's/Master's in HR, Education, or related field.
  • Proven experience in L&D, ideally within financial services or mutual funds.
  • Deep understanding of mutual funds, financial markets, and SEBI regulations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with LMS, MS Office, and e-learning tools.
  • Strong project management and budgeting skills.
