Job Description:

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

Plant Maintenance & Reliability

  • Lead Mechanical, Electrical & Instrumentation maintenance for all plant equipment

  • Ensure maximum uptime through preventive & predictive maintenance

  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies, SOPs, and schedules

  • Handle breakdown analysis, RCA, and corrective/preventive actions

Utilities & Infrastructure

  • Oversee maintenance of Boilers, Compressors, Cooling Towers, DG Sets, HVAC, ETP/STP

  • Ensure uninterrupted availability of Power, Steam, Water & Compressed Air

  • Maintain plant infrastructure, buildings, and material handling systems

Safety, Compliance & Audits

  • Ensure compliance with Factory Act, statutory norms, and safety standards

  • Participate in EHS audits, statutory inspections, and internal audits

  • Implement safe maintenance practices (LOTO, PTW, Confined Space)

People & Contractor Management

  • Lead and mentor maintenance engineers, technicians & contract workforce

  • Evaluate contractor performance ensuring safety, quality & timelines

  • Plan manpower deployment and skill development initiatives

Cost Control & Budgeting

  • Prepare and control Maintenance Budget & CAPEX

  • Optimize spare parts inventory, AMCs, and vendor management

  • Drive cost-saving initiatives without compromising safety or reliability

Projects & Continuous Improvement

  • Support new installations, expansions, and plant modifications

  • Implement TPM, 5S & Continuous Improvement initiatives

  • Coordinate closely with Production, QA & EHS teams

🎯 Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong expertise in Chemical Plant Maintenance

  • Knowledge of GMP / ISO / EHS standards

  • Breakdown management & reliability engineering

  • Utility systems & statutory compliance

  • Leadership & cross-functional coordination

  • Vendor & contractor management

⭐ Preferred Background

  • Experience in Agrochemical / Chemical / Process Industry

  • Exposure to Dahej / GIDC manufacturing ecosystem

  • Experience handling large-scale continuous operations
