Job Title: HR Marketing Specialist - Industrial Products Wholesaler
Job Summary
The HR Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to position the company as an employer of choice within the industrial sector. This role involves utilizing marketing principles to attract, recruit, and retain top talent for various roles, from sales and logistics to technical support. The specialist will work closely with both the HR and Marketing departments to ensure a consistent and compelling employer brand.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding
- Develop and implement effective recruitment marketing strategies to attract qualified candidates with industrial or B2B experience.
- Create and manage the company's employer brand across various platforms, including the careers page, social media (like LinkedIn, industry forums), and job boards.
- Produce compelling content such as job descriptions, employee testimonials, and information on company culture/benefits to showcase the unique value proposition to potential hires.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to design recruitment campaigns and materials that align with the overall company branding and messaging.
- Plan and participate in recruitment events, trade shows, and industry-specific career fairs to generate leads and engage with potential candidates.
Internal Communications & Employee Engagement
- Collaborate with HR to enhance the candidate and employee experience from onboarding through career development.
- Develop internal communication strategies to ensure employees are aware of company values, mission, and development opportunities, boosting retention and engagement.
- Utilize internal marketing campaigns to promote employee referral programs and other HR initiatives.
Analytics & Market Intelligence
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends in talent acquisition within the industrial wholesale sector.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of HR marketing initiatives using key performance indicators (KPIs), such as lead generation rates, cost-per-hire, and campaign ROI.
- Use data-driven insights to optimize recruitment strategies and target specific demographics effectively.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in marketing or HR, with exposure to B2B or industrial sectors preferred.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools (e.g., CRM systems, social media platforms, analytics).
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Data analysis and problem-solving abilities.
- Understanding of employment laws and compliance (an asset in general HR functions).
Work Environment
This role requires a blend of office-based strategic planning and potential on-field activities, such as attending trade shows or visiting distribution centers, to fully understand the operational environment of an industrial products wholesaler.
