Job Description:
A Real Estate Planning Manager develops and oversees strategic plans for property development, managing timelines, budgets, resources, and risks from acquisition through completion, coordinating cross-functional teams (design, finance, construction), ensuring compliance, analyzing market trends, and reporting progress to stakeholders for optimal portfolio growth and profitability. Key duties involve creating detailed project schedules, micro-planning, tracking expenditures, risk mitigation, and supervising teams to meet targets. 
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning: Develop long-term and short-term plans for development, portfolio expansion, and optimal resource utilization.
  • Project Management: Create detailed schedules, Gantt charts, and budgets; monitor progress, identify delays, and implement corrective actions.
  • Financial Oversight: Prepare forecasts, track expenditures, manage budgets, and ensure financial controls.
  • Coordination: Liaise with design, procurement, finance, site teams, architects, and contractors for seamless execution.
  • Risk Management: Analyze project risks, propose mitigation strategies, and escalate critical issues.
  • Reporting: Prepare progress reports, performance metrics, and business plans for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to zoning laws, building codes, internal guidelines, and statutory regulations.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor planning engineers and manage cross-functional teams to achieve targets. 
 
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Urban Planning, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software, MS Office (Excel), GISAutoCAD.
  • Soft Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, analytical, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of real estate market trends, property laws, zoning, and financial principles.
