Job Description:
An Engineer Billing for Real Estate creates, verifies, and manages project financial documentation, focusing on BOQs (Bills of Quantities), RA bills, and cost estimates, reconciling site measurements with invoices, and coordinating payments for contractors and clients, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance for construction projects. Key duties involve site measurement, material reconciliation, rate analysis, and supporting project cost control, requiring strong analytical, technical (Civil Engineering), and software skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Billing & Estimation: Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, rate analyses, and process contractor/subcontractor bills (RA Bills).
- Site Verification: Take measurements from site data and drawings, verifying work progress against submitted bills.
- Financial Reconciliation: Reconcile material consumption, invoices, and payments, checking against budgets and purchase records.
- Coordination: Liaise with site, accounts, procurement, and design teams for smooth payment processing and financial transparency.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate billing records, prepare cost reports, and support final account closures.
- Extra Items: Evaluate and get approval for extra or non-tender items.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: B.E./B. Tech in Civil Engineering.
- Technical Knowledge: BOQ preparation, quantity surveying, estimation, rate analysis, Bar Bending Schedules (BBS).
- Software: Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation/ERP software.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical, numerical, and communication skills, with high attention to detail.
- Experience: Experience in real estate/construction billing and financial management.
Real Estate Focus:
- Managing bills for residential & commercial properties.
- Understanding project budgets, feasibility, and cost control specific to property development.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies for timely project financial closure.
