Job Description:


The Vice President – Business Development and Product Management will play a strategic leadership role in driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and enhancing customer satisfaction. This role requires a dynamic leader with deep expertise in business development, customer relationship management, and strategic planning. The VP will oversee key accounts, product management, and global Business Development strategies, ensuring alignment with long-term business objectives.

Qualifications, knowledge and experience

  • Graduate in Design (Jewelry / Product design), also having knowledge about business operations will be added advantage.
  • At least 10 years of experience in design / product development and managing team.
  • Deep understanding of customer orientation and ability to meet and exceed customer expectations
  • Indian and international experience
  • Familiarity with SAP desirable, which is our operating platform
    · Should have advanced to good MS- Excel skills
  • An understanding of Design and Aesthetics is a must
  • Foreign language knowledge would be an added advantage

 

Vice President - Business Development & Product Management

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Business Development & Customer Service · Responsible for key account management and providing highest possible level of service to the customer
  • Ensuring timely and in quality delivery of samples/production
    · Developing a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
    · Conduct research to identify new products / processes which can be offered to the customer
  • Represent the company at customer meetings or trade shows to understand client’s development needs
  • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objective
  • Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s USP and
    differentiator
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after- sales support
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
  • Data Analysis – should be good with numbers and be able to make sense with large amount of data in order to come up with business insights
  • Liaising with employees at all levels and functions to provide the required support to the customer
  • Training and development of the team from technical and managerial points of view for the long term
    · Pricing - Ensuring accuracy and maintaining profitability.
  • Keeping the entire process chain intact and work on continuous improvement for reducing process
    time.

 

Business Development Operations

  • Maintaining, monitoring and implementing systems in Business Development operations that
    inculcate a culture of continual improvement · Pricing – Setting up profitable and competitive pricing parameters
  • Data Management
  • Order processing & invoicing
    · Account management – maintain proper books of accounts and ensuring timely receipt of payments
  • Forecasting – Anticipating customer needs and formulating stocking plan for components and finished
    goods
  • Backward planning & monitoring the timeliness of PD and production, taking corrective and
    preventive action
    · Trend Analysis

Candidates with experience in the hospitality, luxury, jewellery, or watch industries will be preferred.
