Job Description:
An Architect for Real Estate designs and manages property developments, translating developer goals into functional, attractive, and compliant buildings by creating blueprints, collaborating with engineers, securing permits, overseeing construction for quality, and ensuring projects meet market demands and urban planning, from concept to completion, blending creative vision with business strategy. Key tasks include concept design, technical drawings (CAD/Revit), cost estimation, client liaison, site supervision, and ensuring adherence to codes, focusing on value creation and market appeal.
Core Responsibilities
- Design & Planning: Develop conceptual designs, master plans, and detailed technical drawings for residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects.
- Regulatory Compliance: Secure necessary permits and approvals, ensuring designs meet local building codes and zoning laws.
- Project Management: Oversee projects from inception to completion, managing timelines, budgets, and resources.
- Collaboration: Work with developers, engineers (structural, MEP), contractors, and other consultants.
- Site Supervision: Monitor construction progress and quality to ensure adherence to design specifications.
- Client & Stakeholder Communication: Present designs, provide updates, and manage expectations with clients and authorities.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit).
- Strong understanding of building codes, sustainability, and urban planning.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
