Job Description:
An Officer for RERA Documentation in Real Estate manages the complete RERA (Real Estate Regulation and Development Act) compliance process, from preparing and submitting project registration documents (plans, approvals, financials) to liaising with authorities, ensuring ongoing compliance with state-specific RERA rules (like CGRERA in Chhattisgarh), and coordinating with internal legal/commercial teams for timely approvals and issue resolution. This role demands strong legal understanding, meticulous data management, and excellent communication to ensure projects meet all regulatory requirements for legal operations. 
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Document Management: Compile, draft, and manage all project documents for RERA registration (e.g., plans, clearances, sale agreements).
  • RERA Compliance: Ensure adherence to RERA Act, rules, and orders, staying updated on state authority (like CG-RERA) changes.
  • Liaison & Coordination: Act as a bridge between internal teams (legal, sales, project) and external authorities (RERA, banks, government).
  • Process Oversight: Oversee the entire RERA registration and approval lifecycle, tracking progress and statuses.
  • Reporting: Generate internal reports on RERA KPIs, project status, and compliance for management.
  • Legal Support: Assist with due diligence, title verification, and resolving legal discrepancies. 
 
Essential Skills & Qualifications
  • Education: Law, Business Admin, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in real estate documentation and regulatory compliance.
  • Knowledge: Strong grasp of RERA Act, property law, and registration processes.
  • Skills: Excellent analytical, communication (written/verbal), organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Tools: Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint for data presentation.
