Job Summary

We are looking for a Quality Engineer with hands-on experience in gear inspection to ensure product quality meets specified standards. The candidate should be proficient in inspection tools and measuring instruments used for checking gear threads and related components.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection of gears and gear components

• Inspect gear threads and profiles as per drawings, standards, and quality plans

• Use inspection tools and measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, dial indicators, gear tooth vernier, profile testers, etc.

• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and tolerance requirements

• Identify non-conformities and support root cause analysis and corrective actions

• Maintain inspection records, reports, and quality documentation

• Coordinate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues

• Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and customer requirements

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of gear inspection methods and standards

• Hands-on experience with mechanical inspection tools and measuring instruments

• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and GD&T

• Basic knowledge of quality systems and inspection documentation

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
