Job Description:
An Executive Sales role for a paints dealer company involves driving territory growth by managing dealer networks, achieving sales targets, and building contractor/influencer relationships, focusing on new dealer acquisition, scheme communication, stock management, collections, and market analysis to expand market share and ensure customer satisfaction for both dealers and end-users. Key responsibilities include executing sales plans, coordinating with marketing, resolving issues, and ensuring product availability, requiring strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dealer Network Management: Identify, develop, and manage relationships with existing and new dealers and sub-dealers, providing support for sales and product range.
- Sales & Target Achievement: Achieve monthly/annual sales targets, implement sales strategies, and drive growth through product promotion and scheme communication.
- Market Development: Conduct market research, analyze competitor activities, identify new opportunities, and organize promotional events.
- Financial Management: Monitor and ensure timely collection of payments from dealers, managing outstanding dues.
- Contractor & Influencer Engagement: Build rapport with contractors, architects, and other influencers, enrolling them in loyalty programs.
- Logistics & Support: Coordinate with supply chain for timely material delivery, manage stock, and ensure adequate promotional tools are available.
- Customer & Complaint Resolution: Address and resolve complaints from dealers, contractors, and end consumers efficiently.
- Reporting & Integration: Prepare sales reports, share market intelligence, and collaborate with internal teams (marketing, project sales).
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor's degree (B.A., B.Com, BBA, etc.) in any discipline, with full-time study preferred.
- Experience: Proven sales track record, preferably in paints, building materials, or FMCG.
- Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, relationship-building, planning, and problem-solving skills, with strong market understanding.
