KRA – ASM (Insurance Attachment with Loans)
- Business & Revenue Growth
- Achieve monthly / quarterly insurance premium targets through loan-linked insurance (HL, LAP, PL, CV, Gold Loan, etc.)
- Drive insurance attachment ratio (%) on overall loan disbursement
- Increase cross-sell penetration across life, health & general insurance
- Ensure product mix as per company strategy (Health, Life, GI)
- Loan Insurance Attachment
- Attach mandatory & optional insurance policies with:
- Home Loans
- Personal Loans
- Business Loans
- Improve case-level insurance conversion
- Reduce zero-insurance loan cases
- Ensure correct sum insured & tenure alignment with loan amount
- Channel & Stakeholder Management
- Manage relationships with:
- Branch Managers
- Loan Officers / Relationship Officers
- Credit & Operations teams
- Conduct joint calls & field visits with loan sales teams
- Ensure insurance inclusion in loan sales discussions
- Team Management & Productivity
- Recruit, train & manage DSAs / Insurance Sales Officers
- Set daily & monthly targets for the team
- Track daily MIS, logins, issuances & conversions
- Coach team on objection handling & loan-linked pitching
- Training & Capability Building
- Conduct product & process training for loan sales staff
- Educate teams on:
- Insurance benefits
- IRDAI compliance
- Policy features & exclusions
- Regular refresher sessions to improve attachment %
- Process, Compliance & Quality
- Ensure 100% compliance with IRDAI & partner guidelines
- Maintain proper customer consent & documentation
- Reduce policy cancellations / free-look cases
- Ensure accurate data entry & smooth policy issuance
- Customer Experience
- Ensure timely policy issuance post loan disbursement
- Coordinate for endorsements, corrections & claims support
- Maintain high customer satisfaction score (CSAT)
- Reporting & MIS
- Daily / Weekly MIS on:
- Loan disbursement vs insurance attachment
- Premium achieved
- Branch-wise & product-wise performance
- Analyze gaps and submit action plans to improve performance
- Market Expansion
- Identify new branches, DSAs & sourcing partners
- Increase insurance presence in underperforming loan locations
- Support new branch / product launches
- Key Performance Metrics (KPIs)
- Insurance Attachment Ratio (%)
- Premium Achieved vs Target
- Policies issued per loan officer
- Conversion ratio (login to issuance)
- Cancellation / free-look ratio
- Branch activation %
