Job Description:

Role Summary

The Retail Sales Executive will be responsible for handling walk-in customers at the showroom, understanding their requirements, explaining door and wood-related products, and ensuring a smooth sales and order coordination process while delivering an excellent customer experience.

KRA: Task / Activities

  • Handle walk-in customers at the retail showroom
  • Explain doors, frames, and related wood/timber products clearly to customers
  • Understand customer requirements and suggest suitable product options
  • Coordinate with internal teams for order processing and execution
  • Maintain basic customer details and sales records
  • Ensure proper showroom presentation and a positive customer experience

KPI: Performance Metrics

  • Walk-in customer conversion ratio
  • Accuracy and timeliness of order processing.
  • Customer satisfaction and repeat inquiries
  • Follow-up effectiveness and payment coordination
  • Maintenance of sales and customer records

Required Skills

  • Retail / showroom sales experience
  • Strong product explanation and customer handling skills
  • Basic sales documentation and record maintenance
  • Communication skills in Tamil (mandatory)

Preferred skills

  • Basic English communication
  • Prior experience in doors, wood, timber, or allied industries
  • Familiarity with showroom sales processes
