Job Description:

Designation: Head – HR & People
Experience: 10–15 Years (Leadership-Level HR)
Salary: Up to 16 LPA
Work Days: 6 days working, alternate Saturdays off + 2 Saturday half days
Location: Dadar (Mumbai)


Role Overview
Reporting to the leadership team, the Head – HR & People will be responsible for driving HR strategy, organizational effectiveness, leadership hiring, people development, compliance, and culture building. This role demands a hands-on leader who can align people initiatives with business growth while strengthening systems, processes, and employee experience.

Key Responsibilities
• Design and execute the end-to-end HR and People strategy aligned with Unicare’s business objectives and growth plans.
• Lead senior-level talent acquisition, workforce planning, succession planning, and leadership pipeline development.
• Build strong employee engagement, culture transformation, and retention programs across all functions.
• Develop and manage performance management systems, OKRs, KPIs, and leadership development frameworks.
• Drive learning, capability building, training architecture, and career progression frameworks.
• Oversee HR operations including payroll coordination, HRMS, policies, audits, statutory compliance, and employee relations.
• Act as a strategic partner to leadership on organization design, change management, and capability building.
• Strengthen employer branding, EVP, and people experience across the employee lifecycle.
• Implement compensation benchmarking, rewards, recognition, and benefits programs.
• Manage grievance handling, disciplinary processes, and foster a transparent, high-trust work environment.
• Build scalable HR processes, dashboards, and MIS for data-driven people decisions.
• Mentor HR team members and build a future-ready HR organization.

Ideal Candidate Profile
• 10–15 years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably in growing organizations.
• Strong expertise in strategic HR, talent management, performance systems, and culture building.
• Proven ability to partner with CXOs and business leaders.
• Hands-on leader with excellent stakeholder management and execution capability.
• Experience in scaling teams, processes, and HR infrastructure.
• Strong communication, coaching, and leadership presence.
