Job Description:

 Team work: To contribute as an effective team member by
coordinating and collaborating with other teammates.
 Cross-functional collaboration: Working with other in-house teams
of the organisation and external legal vendors (lawyers, law firms,
compliance agencies and other professionals) to formulate business
centric legal support.
 Working under strict deadlines and pressure: To deliver under
strict deadlines and pressure however without compromising of the
qualitative aspect of the work.
 Time bound assignments: To deliver against time bound
assignments on wide range of legal matters, however, focussing
mostly on real estate.
 Business enabler: To work as a business enabler thereby making the
business teams and other support functions compliant and legally
empowered.
 Legal drafting skill: Strong drafting skill is required for in house
drafting of notices, responses, applications, petitions, reports etc.
High weightage will be given for this skillset.
 Contract management: Drafting, reviewing, negotiating contracts
and other legal agreements and documents.
 Litigation management: Effective monitoring and reporting against
legal disputes of the organization pending before various Courts and
Tribunals across India.
 Compliance and compliance audit: Ensuring the Organization
complies with all applicable laws and regulations.

II. Required Skills and Qualifications:
 Legal Degree: A Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from a recognized
university in India. 

 Experience: 

For senior position (10-15 years) and for junior position
(6-7 years) in the legal and compliance role of any growth-oriented
Organisation.

Prior experience in real estate sector and hand on
experience on RERA compliance shall be given preference.
 In-depth Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of relevant laws,
regulations and legal principles. 
 Analytical and problem-solving skills: The ability to analyse
complex legal issues and develop effective resolution.
 Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills to effectively represent
the Organization's interests
 Communication skill: Strong interpersonal and communication skill
for collaborating with external legal/compliance vendors/law
firms/other professionals and also with the inhouse teams within the
organisation.
 Learning agility: Need to be a quick learner and an active listener.
 Power point presentation and Excel sheet: Ability to seamless
working on these two platforms shall be given weightage.
 Network with legal fraternity: Strong network with legal fraternity
and law firms across India will be given weightage.
 Enrolment with Bar Council: Shall be preferred.
