Estimation Engineer (Mechanical)

Job Description:

Location: Dhumal Nagar, Vasai (East)/ Dadar, Mumbai
Qualification: B.E. Mechanical
Experience: 5–7 years
Salary: Based on Experience/ ₹50,000–₹60,000/month

Job Overview:
Responsible for preparing cost estimates, technical proposals, and BOQs for industrial safety equipment projects. The role requires strong analytical and coordination skills with sales, design, and procurement departments.

Key Responsibilities:
• RFQ analysis, Project proposals, BOQ, Costing and documentation
• Overseas/ EPC Documentations.
• To read engineering drawings and their details
• To Coordinate with Purchase department for bought out item prices required for Estimation & resolve queries
• To estimate freight charges as per the INCOTERMS
• To provide the technical support to the sales department in addressing technical queries of the client
• After getting the order, study terms and conditions & highlight the discrepancies
• Handle post order technical documentation internally and with client

Skills & Attributes:
Strong knowledge of estimation techniques, costing, and tender documentation. Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD reading, and analytical costing.

Preferred Industry: Tendering & Estimation – Infrastructure, Oil & Gas, Pharma, General Engineering.
