Position: HR Manager
Location: Nariman Point, Mumbai
Experience: Minimum 5 years
Domain Expertise: Talent Acquisition & HR Generalist

Role Summary
The HR Manager will be responsible for managing end‑to‑end human resource functions with strong expertise in Talent Acquisition and HR Generalist activities. The role requires hands‑on involvement in recruitment, employee lifecycle management, policy implementation, compliance, and employee engagement while partnering closely with business leaders.

Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition

  • Own end‑to‑end recruitment for all levels including sales, operations, support, and leadership roles.
  • Workforce planning in coordination with department heads.
  • Design and implement effective sourcing strategies using job portals, consultants, referrals, and social media.
  • Conduct interviews, coordinate assessments, and manage offer negotiations.
  • Ensure timely onboarding and smooth induction of new hires.
  • Maintain recruitment metrics such as TAT, cost per hire, and quality of hire.

HR Generalist Functions

  • Manage the complete employee life cycle: onboarding, confirmation, performance management, engagement, and separation.
  • Draft, implement, and update HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbook in line with company needs and statutory requirements.
  • Handle probation reviews, performance improvement plans (PIP), and disciplinary processes.
  • Address employee grievances and ensure fair, transparent resolution.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives, internal communication, and cultural alignment.

Statutory Compliance & Payroll Coordination

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws including PF, ESI, Shops & Establishment Act, Gratuity, and other statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate with payroll vendors/internal teams to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Manage audits, inspections, and statutory documentation.
  • Handle office administration

Performance & HR Operations

  • Support leadership in implementing performance management systems and appraisal cycles.
  • Maintain HR MIS, employee records, and dashboards for management reporting.
  • Analyze HR data to support decision‑making and organizational planning.
  • Support organizational development initiatives and change management.

Stakeholder Management

  • Guide managers on HR best practices, people management, and compliance matters.
  • Liaise with external consultants, recruiters, and legal advisors when required.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong expertise in Talent Acquisition and end‑to‑end recruitment.
  • Sound knowledge of Indian labor laws and statutory compliance.
  • Hands‑on HR generalist experience in a corporate setup.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive matters with confidentiality and maturity.
  • Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, HRMS, and reporting.

Educational Qualification

  • MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent qualification.

Experience Requirement

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as an HR Manager / Senior HR Generalist.
  • Prior experience in financial services, forex, or related sectors will be an added advantage.
