HELPER STAFF FOR SAREE SHOP - RAIPUR , CHHATTISGARH

Job Description:

• Customer Assistance: Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding and selecting sarees and other products. Provide basic product knowledge regarding fabric, designs, and prices.
• Merchandising & Stocking: Keep products properly folded, arranged, and displayed. Restock shelves and display areas with new merchandise and ensure price tags are accurate.
• Inventory Management: Assist in receiving new shipments, unpacking boxes, and organizing stock in storage areas. Participate in periodic inventory counts and report discrepancies to management.
• Store Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the sales floor, trial rooms, and storage areas (sweeping, dusting, mopping as needed).
• Sales Support: Support sales staff during peak hours, which may include assisting with packing customer orders and handling basic transactions using a Point-of-Sale (POS) system if required.
• General Support: Perform other duties as assigned by store management to ensure the efficient running of the shop. This might include running minor errands or bringing refreshments for customers. 

• Experience: Prior experience in a retail or customer service environment is a plus, but entry-level candidates with no experience may be considered as training is often provided.
• Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift/move boxes of stock or display items as needed.
• Personal Attributes: A friendly, engaging, and positive attitude. Must be reliable, punctual, and flexible to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain an organized and visually appealing store environment.
