Role Summary
The Head of Finance will lead and manage the overall finance function for Crown Vet, including financial planning, accounting, compliance, cash flow management, and strategic financial analysis. This role will partner closely with leadership to drive financial discipline, support expansion plans, and ensure robust controls across clinic and corporate operations.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting
• Oversee end-to-end finance and accounting operations including AP, AR, GL, and MIS reporting.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Monitor clinic-level and corporate P&L, costs, margins, and profitability.
• Establish and strengthen internal controls, SOPs, and financial governance.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis
• Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to management.
• Develop financial models to support expansion, capex, and investment decisions.
• Support pricing, costing, and margin improvement initiatives across clinics.

Cash Flow & Fund Management
• Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital requirements.
• Ensure optimal fund utilization and liquidity management.
• Liaise with banks, auditors, and financial institutions for credit facilities and compliance.
• Monitor receivables, payables, and improve cash conversion cycles.

Compliance, Audit & Taxation
• Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and tax requirements (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.).
• Coordinate statutory, internal, and managment audits.
• Ensure accurate documentation and audit readiness across clinics and HO.

Team Leadership & Business Partnering
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounts team.
• Partner with operations, HR, procurement, and clinic leadership for financial discipline.
• Support leadership with strategic financial insights and decision support.

Qualifications & Experience
• Chartered Accountant (CA) mandatory; MBA (Finance) preferred.
• 10–15 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles.
• Experience in healthcare, clinics, hospitals, retail, or service-driven organizations preferred.
• Strong exposure to multi-unit operations, budgeting, and compliance.

Key Skills
• Strong financial analysis, reporting, and business partnering skills.
• Deep understanding of accounting standards, taxation, and compliance.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (Tally / SAP / Oracle) and advanced MS Excel.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
