Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Engineer – R&D with strong expertise in sheet metal and heavy fabrication engineering. The role focuses on concept development, new design creation, engineering validation, and design optimization to deliver innovative and manufacturable solutions.

Work Timings: 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM
Working Days: 6 Days a Week

Key Responsibilities

• Lead concept generation, feasibility studies, and detailed mechanical design

• Develop accurate 3D CAD models, assemblies, and 2D drawings

• Perform engineering calculations for strength, load, durability, and stability

• Apply DFMEA, DFM/DFA, and value engineering methodologies

• Coordinate prototype development, testing, and validation

• Analyze test results and implement design improvements

• Work closely with production, sourcing, and quality teams

• Evaluate new materials and fabrication techniques

• Maintain structured design documentation and revision control

• Mentor junior engineers and promote best engineering practices

Desired Candidate Profile

• B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

• 5–8+ years of experience in R&D-focused mechanical design

• Strong expertise in sheet metal and heavy fabricated systems

• Proficiency in SolidWorks / Creo / Inventor / AutoCAD

• Exposure to structural analysis or basic FEA preferred

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently on complex engineering challenges
