Job Description:
POSITION: Deputy Manager – Business Support
Reports to (Position): Regional Head – Retail Sales
Position Purpose: The Deputy Manager – Sales Support will play a key role in enabling the sales team with timely information, operational coordination, distributor servicing, and MIS/reporting support. This position is critical to ensuring smooth sales operations, stronger distributor engagement, and effective business enablement across regions. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical ability, a customer centric approach, knowledge of mutual fund operations, and the capability to collaborate seamlessly with internal and external stakeholders.
Principal Accountabilities:
Support the regional head in MIS and analytics by preparing and maintaining MIS reports including AUM dashboards, sales performance trackers, SIP trends, channel productivity, and distributor contribution etc as required.
Responsible for data compilation for NFOs, product launches, and marketing campaigns & market intelligence etc
Assist the regional and zonal heads with actionable insights to support decision making and performance reporting.
Consolidate inputs from branches to contribute to regional strategy formulation.
Support campaigns, product launches, sales drives, and promotional initiatives
Create basic presentations, MIS reports, and ad-hoc analyses as and when required.
Assist in special projects initiated by the Regional Head
Assist in coordination of event logistics, collaterals, and standard communication templates for sales & distributor engagement programs.
Maintain updated product decks, presentations, and sales enablement material for sales team with excellent coordination with digital/marketing/product teams.
Track and assist in distributor empanelment and documentation
Support in implementing standardized SOPs for sales support functions across regions.
Track compliance of teams in line with SEBI/AMFI guidelines.
Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Certifications
Certifications
NISM Series V A - Mutual Funds Distributor Module certified
NISM Series XXI A - NISM PMS
Skills & Competencies
Strong hands-on experience in Excel, PowerPoint.
Working knowledge of mutual fund distributor processes, brokerage structures, commission calculators, and industry platforms.
Familiarity with CAMS/KFintech reporting, empanelment processes, and AMFI guidelines.
Strong communication and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
Customer centric and solution oriented mindset.
Preferred Industry Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
Experience 3–5 years of experience in analytics, MIS, or business support roles (preferably in AMC, banking, or financial services)
