BIM Draftsman

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities
• Develop detailed 2D drawings and 3D BIM models for architectural and engineering projects using
Revit and AutoCAD.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and BIM coordinators to ensure accurate and consistent model
integration.
• Prepare working drawings, shop drawings, and as-built documentation as per project requirements.
• Update and maintain BIM models throughout design and construction phases.
• Conduct clash checks and coordinate with other disciplines (Structural, MEP) to resolve model
discrepancies.
• Ensure all drawings comply with company drafting and BIM standards.
• Assist in implementing BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and maintain model data integrity.
• Support project teams with documentation, revisions, and version control.
• Organise and manage drawing files systematically for easy access and retrieval.

Requirements to Apply
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 5 years of experience as a Draftsman, preferably with exposure to BIM workflows.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
• Strong understanding of architectural drawings, detailing, and drafting standards.
• Familiar with BIM coordination and multi-disciplinary integration.
• Good attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of Dubai or GCC building standards is an advantage.
