Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Automation Engineer with strong technical expertise in Siemens automation systems, including PLC, HMI, SCADA and PCS7. The candidate will lead automation projects & mentor junior engineers in all phases of software development and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design & Software development of PLC (S7-1200/S7-1500/S7-400), HMI & SCADA (WinCC).
- Troubleshoot PLC logic, HMI & SCADA configurations.
- Onsite installation & commissioning of Automation products on client location.
- Working on SIEMENS software like Simatic Manager, TIA Portal, WinCC, PCS7, etc.
- Understand technical documentation P & IDs, Control philosophy, PFDs, etc.
- Develop detailed engineering documentation including FDS, IO lists, logic diagrams, etc.
- Conducting Hardware & Software FAT.
- Coordinate with cross-functional departments including design, sales and project management teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation/Electronics/Electrical/ Mechatronics Engineering or related engineering field.
- 4-6 Years of experience in automation field (Hands on Siemens PLC, HMI, SCADA Preferred).
- Strong knowledge of communication protocols like Profibus, Profinet, Modbus, OPC, etc.
- Experience in system integration and field instrumentation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make technical decisions independently.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication, leadership, and documentation abilities.
- Willingness to travel for execution, commissioning and onsite support mostly Andhra & Telangana region.
