Job Description:

Role Summary

The Assistant Manager of Materials Planning is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end material flow—from forecasting and supplier scheduling to inventory optimization. You will be leading a team of planners to prevent production downtime while minimizing excess stock. This role requires a blend of high-level analytical skills, people management, and hands-on troubleshooting.

KPI: Performance Metrics

· Inventory Turnover Ratio: How efficiently the company uses its capital.

· Stockout Rate: Frequency of production stoppages due to missing materials (Target: 0%).

· On-Time Delivery (OTD): Performance of the inbound supply chain.

· Inventory Accuracy: The match between system records and physical stock.
