Job Description
We are looking for a Helpdesk Manager to be responsible & accountable for the smooth running of our Operations within the limits of requirements, specifications, costs & timelines.
You will supervise the implementation & maintenance of our Company’s computing needs.
The successful candidate will have improved skills, proven professional experiences & detailed knowledge of the industry’s best practice.
Responsibilities
- Manage information Technology & computer system.
- Plan, Organize, control & evaluate IT & electronics data Operations.
- Manage Helpdesk & Field support Staff by recruiting, training & coaching employees, communicating JOB expectations & appraising their performance.
- Design, Develop, implement & coordinate systems, policies & procedures.
- Ensure Security of data, network access & backup of systems.
- Act in alignment with user needs & system functionality to contribute to organizational policy.
- Identify problematic areas & implement strategic solutions in time.
- Audit systems & assess their outcomes.
- Preserve assets, information security & control structures.
- Handle IT procurement &ensure cost effectiveness.
- Vendor management & Track the issues till closure.
- Generate reports as & when required by the department in coordination with the MIS Team.
- Complete ownership of communication & coordination with various Departments.
- Responsible to follow-up with the Helpdesk team on the Tickets opened & work till closure without violating the SLA’s.
Requirements
- Proven working experience as a Helpdesk manager or relevant experience.
- Excellent communication to manage various meetings & coordination with Clients.
- Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis & computer hardware/ Software systems.
- Expertise in data Centre Management & data governance.
- Hands on experience with Computer Networks & Relevant software.
