Job Responsibility 

Process / Sub-Process
Plans & Strategies

  • Develops and implements quality frameworks and management system in all processes and ensure regular updating of the same.
  • Ensures all company policies, procedures, and work instructions are documented in a clear, simple and concise manner
  • Ensures compliance to quality policy, quality standards, regulatory and statutory guidelines as per policies
  • Drive quality focused culture at all plants in respective business units and ensure zero ppm.
  • Drives overall strategies to achieve to meet the customer OTIF.
  • Develops policies and procedures for product Quality Assurance

Customer Orientation:

  • Drives Root Cause Analysis in the company for all processes to take corrective actions
  • Defines the specifications of the products as per the expectations of the customers defined in the scope.

Develops Benchmarks:

  • Ensures compliance to Customer requirements as per scope
  • Identify gaps in business processes and design & implement action plan for business process improvements.
  • Creates Qualitative and Quantitative benchmarks for the projects
  • Defines and supports new projects and initiatives for the company.

Audits & Systematic Process:

  • Carry out process flows/line audits, identify areas of improvement in production and prepare action plan to improve the processes.
  • Plans quality inspection and Finished Good release
  • Implements systems and certified processes for the production process, people and waste management.

Vendor Management:

  • Carries out supplier improvement in terms of systems adherence and discipline in co-ordination with sourcing
  • Prepares and ensures adherence to supplier evaluation calendar and meet yearly target of improvement of supplier quality.

Testing:

  • Maintains the data base for compliance resources including standards, rules & regulations.
  • Supervises the Testing activities and ensures team members follow the laid down protocols.

People Management:

  • Manages and issues timely instruction to the down line performers to achieve the organization Goal
  • Optimal utilization of available resource for better productivity.

QA & QC:

  • Plans quality inspection incoming raw material, finished goods.
  • Makes final decision for non-conforming materials.
  • Analyze customer issues & escalations (repeated) to identify the root-cause, create and implement the CAPA for the same
  • Trains all company personnel in the documented Quality policies
