Job Description:

Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and result-driven Sales Professional for building finishing materials such as furnishings, sanitary ware, wallpapers, Flooring, surface finishes, and interior products. The role involves specification-based selling, meeting architects, interior designers, PMC consultants, contractors, and developers, and generating sustainable business through projects.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

  • Promote and sell finishing and interior building materials including furnishings, sanitary ware, wallpapers, and allied products
  • Generate new leads through architects, interior designers, PMCs, contractors, and developers
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Prepare and submit quotations, proposals, and technical presentations

Specification & Channel Management

  • Get products specified and approved in projects at design and planning stages
  • Build long-term relationships with architects, interior designers, consultants, and PMC firms
  • Coordinate with contractors and site teams for order execution

Project Tracking & Coordination

  • Track projects from design stage to order closure and execution
  • Coordinate with internal teams for samples, mockups, drawings, and deliveries
  • Ensure timely follow-ups for payments and order closures

Market Intelligence

  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and new products
  • Identify upcoming projects and expansion opportunities
  • Share market feedback with management for strategy improvement

Candidate Profile

Education

  • Graduate with MBA, MMS Degree

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in building materials / interior finishing products sales
  • Exposure to specification-based or project sales is mandatory

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Relationship-building and negotiation ability
  • Good understanding of interior finishes and construction processes
  • Ability to read drawings and understand project requirements
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and proactive
